About Me

About Me

I am the middle child of five siblings; four boys, one girl. I enjoy producing music, listening to music, and DJing. I've been worked for a DJ production company for about four years. My favourite genre of music is House. I also worked for a landscaping company for about 8 months. I have learned a lot about maintaining all sorts of plants and setting up irrigation. Hopefully after my mission I will go to law school and become a lawyer. I love to go camping and be in nature. I feel closer to God in nature than I do anywhere else. I am serving a full-time mission in Southern England for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from April 2012 till April 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

Through my own study and prayer I have come to know that this is the path for me. I have seen how it has changed my life for the better. As a missionary I see people all day, every day that are struggling with life. They are tired, both physically and spiritually. They need the peace and serenity that the Gospel offers. We all have struggles in life, and because of that, we all need help. No one can make it through life completely happy without the Saviour. We all need him. I have come to know that this is the way to return back to my Father in Heaven. Due to this knowledge, I decided to become a missionary and share this with others. My whole purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ. My hope is that everyone I meet, after having gotten to know me, will walk away feeling the tiniest portion of the love of the Saviour.

How I live my faith

As a teenager I was in charge of the young men in my area from ages 12-18 for almost 2 years. I had to make sure that our activities were carried out and all the young men would show up to church and our activities. I have also participated in many service projects in the community, including organizing and carrying out a cell phone drive for domestic violence victims. In high school, I made it a point to make sure that all my friends and peers knew that I was a Mormon. People began to respect my beliefs and didn't ask me to participate in anything contrary to my beliefs. I was able to share my beliefs with others throughout my high school years. Most of all, I will tell anyone and everyone of the beautiful truths that I have come to know. I feel prepared to testify to anyone that I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves all of us.
